Samples - We always recommend prior to placing any order that you obtain a sample of your chosen carpet colours to ensure that you are satisfied with the colour, design, texture, pile and height.  Whilst we make every effort to ensure all images on our website are as realistic and accurate as possible, due to the differentiation in monitor types/settings and software used this may cause the product colours to appear slightly different in person.

You can order up to 5 Stair Runner or Swatch Samples. 

Swatch Samples (i.e. those that are requested and sent directly from the manufacturer), from Brintons Carpets and Ulster Carpets, will be requested and sent out free of charge directly from the manufacturer.  Stair Runner samples are free, but we have a small charge of 50p per sample to cover postage costs which are sent out from Stonegate Carpets normally within 3 days of order.

Swatch colour samples ordered from our Carpet Showroom, will be ordered and sent directly from the manufacturer (Brintons & Ulster).

Stair Runner Samples (have a small postage cost) 

Samples ordered from our Stair Carpets Runners section have a small postage cost of 50p per sample. 

Some of our Bespoke Stair Runners are made using two or even three different colours of carpets.  If you order samples that are made from more than two colours, we will send one fully made up sample and swatch samples of your remaining colour choices. 

For example, if you were to order the following two samples, 

Brintons Coffee/Ebony/Barley and Smoke/Ebony/Pewter we will send one fully made up and the Smoke, Ebony & Pewter as small swatch samples (as you can see here in our photo).

Carpet Remnants

If you are wishing to purchase one of our many carpet remnants, the delivery charge will vary dependent on the size of the remnant.  Carpet remnants up to 1.5m in length will cost £30.00 with remnants up to 2.5m in length costing £40.00  Any carpet remnant above 2.5m in length, the delivery cost will need to be obtained by phoning our sales line on 0113 225 95 35, should you add a piece above 2.5m in length to the shoppnig cart, the cost for delivery will show as £200.00 and ask you to contact us directly.

Our Standard Delivery service will deliver within 3 to 5 working days where items are held in stock. A member of our customer service team will contact you within 2 working days to arrange a suitable delivery date. Deliveries are made on your requested day between the hours of 8am and 6pm. Where possible we will advise you of approximate delivery lead-times at the time of order. If your delivery may be delayed, we will contact you to discuss alternative arrangements. Should you require a Timed or Special Delivery Service, please contact us for a quote.

European and Worldwide Delivery Information

We would be happy to provide a delivery quote for our overseas customers. We have shipped full width Axminster and Wilton carpets and our Stair Runners to countries as far away as New Zealand and Australia, carpet shipping to New Zealand or Australia from the UK is perfectly achievable using Sea Freight shipping and arrives in approximately 8 weeks after customs clearance.  Now countries around the world can take delivery of beautiful British Made Carpets delivered in a matter of weeks.

To ensure your new carpet looks and feels great, we offer a UK Nationwide carpet fitting service for all carpets purchased from Stonegate Carpets. Our network of professional carpet fitters are quality craftsmen and trained to the highest industry standards.

Our carpet fitting service includes the fitting of Stonegate Carpets supplied underlay and gripper rods (charged separately) together with any stair rods (purchased from Stonegate Carpets - fitting of customers own Stair Rods will incur an additional fee of £50.00), these will be delivered along with your carpet by our carpet fitter, saving you any additional delivery charges.

The fitting costs vary depending on the size of the room or stairs to be fitted, the distance of your home from our showroom in Leeds, West Yorkshire and any special fitting requirements such as pattern matching on joins.

Example costs are:

• An average straight staircase based on Stonegate Carpets own assessment from photographs supplied by the customer - FROM £200.00
• An average staircase plus landing FROM £350.00

Customers are requested, where possible, to clear all rooms where the carpet/ flooring is to be fitted. Please take up any existing carpet. Alternatively, arrangements can be made for our fitters to do this at a cost of £40.00 per room including disposal if required.
